Why The Orange Rose?

On November 10, 1979 my father died in a drunk driving accident. When I am able to visit his grave I leave orange roses behind.

The Orange Rose symbolizes desire. 

My mother desired a husband. I desire the presence of my Dad. In one failed decision, a drunk driver took our desires and turned them to despair.

The Orange Rose symbolizes passion. 

I have a passion to see the issue of drunk driving to be raised in our communities. My passion is to make visual reminders which function as both memorials and awareness of how many have been effected due to the selfishness of a drunk driver.

The Orange Rose symbolizes enthusiasm.
